About the role

You will serve as a SUPV HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the BUSINESS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert federal civilian advisory services for command-wide Human Resources (HR) operations in the areas of recruitment, classification, workforce shaping, and reporting functions; 2) Advising management on federal civilian recruitment strategies, sources, and special programs; 3) Providing guidance on Merit System Principles, prohibited personnel practices, and the development and use of valid screening selection criteria; 4) Developing employee performance standards and making formal and informal appraisals of work, giving advice, counsel and/or instructions to employees; and 5) Overseeing a major classification and position management program for a command.
