Responsibilities

• As a Shipping & Receiving team member, you'll be part of our team located in Elyria, Ohio. You'll get to:
• Stores material in proper location after checking against packing slip, or order requisition.
• Maintains storage of all material in warehouse.
• Weigh counts and consolidates work after inspection for shipment or storage.
• Make accurate records of all shipments as required.
• Will be required to load and unload trucks.
• Operate tow motor, truck, box stitcher, and crane.
• Check and verify all merchandise against purchase orders.
• Sign purchase order when material is loaded on truck.
• Bar Codes will be printed in Shipping Dept. using Bar Code Printer.
• Print all labels in Shipping Dept. (address/identification, etc.) using Personal Computer/Terminal and Printer.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
• Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete approved forklift certification program
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
• Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
