Come join our AWS Finance team as a Finance Manager. As part of Hardware Engineering Finance you will partner with Hardware Engineers to develop the next generation of servers that improve performance and lower cost for our customers. You will have exposure to a wide portfolio of AWS hardware server technology. You will use tools such as Total Cost of Ownership and Net Present Value to support decision-making. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, work effectively across multiple finance and business teams, and is a solution builder. You don't need to be a hardware expert to join this team! You will: - Build robust business partnering relationships by providing data-driven and decision-supporting analytics on high-visibility projects - Develop ad-hoc business cases and present recommendations to AWS senior management. - Drive improvements in the end-to-end costing process - Evaluate technology trade-offs with respect to cost and performance relative to customer requirements. - Build systems to streamline delivery of financial information, ensure controllership, and scale the business - Lead the financial planning and analysis effort of your business partners and forecast various metrics for financial risks and opportunities.
