BASIC REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions. NOTE: Transcripts are required at the time of application. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Rendering technical guidance and support for information systems design, development, and integration; 2) Performing detailed analysis on requirements and use cases, and mapping them to engineering and design artifacts; 3) Developing requirements for information system capabilities and supporting infrastructures; AND 4) Evaluating existing information systems technology to advise on solutions/strategies for training system requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
