Responsibilities

  • Promote VUMC services to physicians in the primary referral area.
  • Contact physicians to assess their needs to ensure they are being met and provide feedback to VUMC departments related to concerns or problems expressed by physicians.

  • Facilitate referrals and advocate for initiatives aimed at improving processes related to referrals. Perform service recovery and follow-up efforts based on customer feedback.

Organization: Physician Outreach & Connection Job Summary: The Solid Organ Transplant Physician Liaison is a highly autonomous, relationship-driven professional responsible for driving referral growth and strengthening partnerships across the transplant service lines (liver, kidney, heart, and lung). This role focuses on strategic outreach, physician engagement, and program development across a defined region, while collaborating closely with transplant leadership, physicians, and administrators. This is a remote, field-based position requiring significant travel and a high degree of flexibility in scheduling and daily planning. .
