Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing training for VTC users on optimal operation of VTC systems. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Provides technical support to generate system and equipment reports. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Resolving commonly occurring problems such as scheduling conflicts and equipment malfunctions. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as: -Experience troubleshooting equipment operations and assess system health, performing backup of systems, and managing accounts. -Experience troubleshooting circuit and network outages by making patches to establish, restore, or reroute services. -Experience performing routine system inspections and maintenance, software installations, patches or upgrades on bridges, routers, firewalls and switches. - Experience providing assistance in troubleshooting cryptographic equipment in order to isolate and correct faults.
