Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the bank's cash position. Assist to forecast liquidity requirements over short and medium term

Requirements

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Finance or related disciplines
  • 3+ years' experience working in finance or related sector
  • Knowledge of basic money market, liquidity and balance sheet concepts and instruments
  • Excellent MS Office, Advanced Excel and preferable skills in Sequel query writing
  • Team player with Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Analytical and Problem identification skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels

Money Markets Dealer - ING Australia The Liquidity Management and Money Market ("LM&MM") team is responsible for ensuring that the bank remains compliant with internal and external liquidity requirements and limits. The team deals with external parties including the Reserve Bank of Australia and fixed income investors. It deals in overnight cash, NCD/ECP issuance, collateral management and Foreign Exchange transactions. This small team works closely with other Group Treasury teams in Australia and the global Liquidity Management team to ensure efficient management of the bank's position and balance sheet. In this position you will work alongside a Senior Dealer, and the Manager Treasury, Liquidity and Money Markets executing ING's money market activities and assisting to manage our Exchange Settlement Account.
