Summer Camp Lead (Summer School Support ) Reports To: Director FLSA Classification: Non-exempt, classified Full Time/Part Time Status: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Temporary Salary: Hourly Framework, Range: $30.00 per hour. Application Opening Date: 6/22/26 Application Closing Date: 06/30/26 JOB SUMMARY The Summer Camp Lead is responsible for coordinating the staff and students for our summer programs. Duties include: Services typically include supporting staff and students in summer school programming. This is a short-term position for summer programming only. The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies: ● Inform and communicate effectively with students, families and staff ● Excellent time management and organizational skills ● Ability to demonstrate content knowledge, including California Common Core Standards ● Exhibits knowledge of student cognitive development and various learning styles ● Organization skills ● Ability to provide strong emotional support to students and families ● Ability to manage diversity ● Speak and write succinctly using plan language Building relationships ● Communication, both written and oral ● Ability to evaluate alternatives ● Interpersonal skills ● Ability to listen and motivate ● Teamwork ● Create plans and goal set SALARY Hourly Framework Range: $30.00 per hour. Salary is commensurate with experience and education level.
