About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and enthusiastic IT Intern for Mfg. applications domain to join our dynamic team in San Jose office, United States. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in supporting our efforts to transform Mfg./MES applications from legacy to modern platforms and to automate business processes and IT systems using the latest technologies including AI/ML tools. As a member of our IT team, you will collaborate with our managed services provider and internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, help design, develop and test IT solutions, and promote self-service capabilities to end users. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to apply technical and communication skills to real-world challenges, drive innovation, and make a tangible impact within a global organization. Assist in identifying and analyzing our Mfg. IT application issues and help to fix or improve them. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for our ongoing Mfg./MES IT projects. Contribute to the design and implementation of automated solution using various tools and technologies. Support development and delivery of communications and training materials to engage end users and increase adoption of new self-service options. Support the team in monitoring and optimizing existing automated processes Work with IT teams and managed service providers to identify and document high-priority automation opportunities. The responsibilities of this role are typically aligned with candidates who have approximately 0-2+ years of relevant professional experience, though candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Required: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Basic programming skills, with knowledge of languages such as .Net/C#, Java, Angular, React, Python or JavaScript Basic understanding of process automation, scripting, or workflow tools.
