Administrative Management Specialist

About the role

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Executive Support (1100), Administrative Officer, Personnel Support Systems Branch (1102.7) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying policies, procedures and precedents related to NNSY awards program. Experience communicating with different levels of people in the organizational structure that includes both written and orally. Experience drafting emails, providing clear and concise instructions on processes. Experience using Microsoft Software, automated data systems, Human Resources/payroll applications (MODERN, SUPDESK, and SAEM). Experience coordinating presentations relating to command awards or coordinating presentations in other organization administrative functions. Experience applying knowledge of a wide range of Shipyard organization and program management concepts, practices, principles, and policies.
