Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and perform wiring tasks to build and test electrical products ensuring quality standards.
• Handle materials and pack finished goods accurately for local and overseas shipments.
• Procure and collect parts and supplies from vendors to maintain production flow.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, organize them into assigned bins, and update inventory systems.
• Issue parts from inventory system for assembly according to customer requirements.
• Prepare picking lists and shipping documents for outbound orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records by inputting data and conducting monthly stock takes.
• Coordinate with local and overseas vendors, expediters, customs agents, forwarders, and shipping companies to manage imports, exports, and local orders.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, ensuring tools are replenished and machines maintained.
• Deliver goods to customers and collect supplies from vendors as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments to support operational needs.
• Required competencies and certifications
• Have technical/engineering educational background with relevant work experiences
• Possess Class 3 driving license to operate company van.
• Demonstrate ability to converse, read, and write in English and Chinese to liaise effectively with Chinese associates.
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility.
• Work well independently under stress and collaborate effectively as a team player.
