About the role

The VIE in Digital Engineering plays an active role in delivering and scaling digital solutions across manufacturing plants internationally. This position combines technical execution with project ownership and stakeholder engagement. Typical Work / Projects Lead deployment of digital applications (e.g., performance dashboards, MES modules) across sites Drive standardisation of data models and KPIs across multiple plants Coordinate integration between shopfloor systems (PLC/SCADA) and central platforms Support implementation of advanced use cases (e.g., predictive maintenance, AI-based analytics) Act as a bridge between local plant teams and central digital engineering Roles & Responsibilities Own specific digital workstreams or deployment projects Engage with plant stakeholders to understand needs and translate into solutions Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems Monitor performance of deployed solutions and drive continuous improvement Provide training and support to end users in plants What they gain End-to-end experience in industrial digital transformation Exposure to multiple factories and international stakeholders Strong project management and technical delivery skills
