About the role

The Senior Specialist, Employee Connection & Listening reports to the Sr. Director, Employee Experience and plays a key role in shaping how employees connect, are heard, and are recognized at Scout. This role is responsible for designing and scaling programs, experiences, and systems that reinforce Scout's values, ways of working, and employee connections across a growing, complex workforce. Responsibilities

  • Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
  • Employee Listening
  • Lead how Scout gathers, understands, and acts on employee feedback across the employee lifecycle.
  • Define and execute the approach to surveys, pulse checks, and qualitative listening, ensuring insights are continuous and actionable
  • Partner with People Analytics to translate complex, multi-source data and organizational context into clear insights and focused recommendations for senior leaders
  • Enable leaders to prioritize and act on feedback by translating insights into practical actions and areas of focus
  • Establish a consistent operating rhythm for listening, action planning, and follow-through, strengthening trust and transparency
  • Monitor and report on key engagement metrics, providing insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Recognition
  • Partner in the design and scale of recognition programs that reinforce Scout's values, celebrate contributions, and make great work visible.
  • Partner in defining and evolving Scout's recognition strategy as part of the overall Total Rewards philosophy, including how and when recognition is used to reinforce behaviors aligned to The Scout Way
  • Support and scale a recognition ecosystem that supports career milestones, team achievements, and everyday contributions
  • Create frameworks, leader playbooks, and multi-year plans that enable consistent, meaningful recognition across work styles (corporate, production, retail)
  • Support the implementation of a recognition platform to enable, simplify, and scale programs over time
  • Inclusion & Belonging
  • Design and enable systems that help employees connect, participate, and build a sense of belonging at Scout.
  • Support and scale Affinity Groups (ERGs), including charters, leadership models, and activation across locations and employee populations
  • Stand up informal, Teams-based social channels, including governance, intake processes, and ongoing moderation
  • Partner with Internal Communications to execute and evolve cultural and holiday observances, incorporating employee input and ensuring consistency
