Responsibilities

  • Cargo Customer Service & Operations
  • Manage daily cargo customer service activities and liaise with cargo agents to support export bookings, shipment requirements, and customer enquiries.
  • Coordinate with airlines, cargo agents, and ground handling agents (GHA) to ensure smooth cargo operations and timely handling of shipments.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound cargo movements, including cargo breakdown, release, distribution, transfer, transit, and transhipment activities.
  • Support flight operations, including monitoring of ramp handling, trucking movements, and freighter / charter operations when required.
  • Monitor cargo handling processes, equipment usage, and operational compliance by appointed ground handling agents.
  • Ensure compliance with airline cargo procedures, SOPs, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and regulatory requirements.
  • Support handling requirements for special cargo, dangerous goods (DG), valuables, and other regulated shipments according to airline procedures.
  • Documentation, Data Entry & Reporting
  • Perform accurate data entry and update airline cargo systems and internal cargo management systems on a daily basis.
  • Input, verify, and maintain shipment information, including MAWB and related cargo data, ensuring accuracy within required operational timelines.
  • Ensure cargo documentation is complete and submitted within required timelines.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, airline reports, CASS / Non-CASS reports, and internal reports.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of cargo records, operational data, and airline documentation.
  • Billing & Administrative Support
  • Support billing activities, invoice preparation, and verification of supplier / third-party invoices.
  • Monitor customer and agent payments and assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting.
  • Support preparation of management reports and other administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on accounting and operational requirements.
  • Airline & Customer Coordination
  • Support assigned airline accounts and ensure airline operational requirements are met.
  • Provide sales and customer service support to assist airlines in achieving station performance targets and KPIs.
  • Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, customers, and service partners to resolve cargo issues and operational matters.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in air cargo operations, customer service, freight forwarding, logistics, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience in airline cargo documentation, AWB handling, cargo systems, freight operations, or GHA coordination will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with air cargo processes, airline SOPs, shipment documentation, and operational workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail with good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced airfreight environment and support operations outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Candidates with relevant air cargo, aviation, or logistics experience are highly preferred.
