Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
  • Establish and operate a robust Project Management Office (PMO) governance framework, including standardizing project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), templates, and documentation across all Data Centre programs
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale Data Centre projects, such as hyperscale builds, colocation enablement, network infrastructure deployment, and facility upgrades (MEP, cabling, capacity planning)
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones for the Data Centre portfolio, providing executive-level dashboards and status reports to senior stakeholders
  • Manage design consultants and together with the Construction Manager, manages the installation contractors to deliver works on time, within budget, and aligned to quality standards
  • Finance, Contractor & Vendor Management
  • Oversee CAPEX budgets for the Data Centre project portfolio, managing financial forecasting, cost optimization, and vendor performance to maximize ROI
  • Direct portfolio management activities, including project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and tracking expenditures against estimations
  • Manage procurement lifecycle from tender to contract award (in accordance company procurement policy)
  • Manage contracts and commercial change: scope compliance, variations, EOTs, claims, and progress claims support (with QS/commercial/legal teams).
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and safety standards
  • Coordinate site access, supplier documentation, and commercial alignment across 2-4 subcontract packages per project
  • EHS, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Implement and manage comprehensive risk, issue, and change management processes to mitigate delivery risks in complex, high-stakes environments
  • Ensure all Data Centre projects and operations adhere to internal governance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and security standards
  • Ensure compliance with global EHS policies and high-risk activity standards.
  • Maintain project risk registers with mitigation plans and regular stakeholder reporting.
  • Governance & Financial Control
  • Deliver standardized regional reporting and maintain budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial tracking.
  • Manage scope control and change management processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including inspections and O&M manuals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as primary project interface for client-related matters
  • Serve as a trusted and single point of contact for senior leaders, and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Network, Security, Operations, Finance, Procurement) to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Liaise with authorities and utility providers for permits and regulatory compliance
  • Support account leadership with proposals, risk plans, and project documentation
  • Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide evaluations, audits, risk assessments and startup as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent.
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2, CSM will have an advantage.
  • At least 5-10+ years of experience in Project Management managing technical projects, program or PMO Management with some focus on large scale Data Centre projects, in greenfield/pre-construction phase
  • Proven experience in establishing and maturing PMO functions and implementing governance frameworks
  • Strong experience in document control, and contract administ

This role is responsible for managing construction works, contractors and consultant coordination, EHS compliance, financial control, and governance reporting across sites in Korea. The successful candidate will oversee new site activations, ensure projects are delivered safely and within budget, and act as the key interface between internal stakeholders, contractors, and client teams. This position requires strong multi-country project management experience with strong knowledge in Korea, commercial acumen, and the ability to travel across Data Centre sites in Korea.
