Hexcel is currently seeking an Account Representative for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Provide direct line of support to customer(s), as the key point of contact for the customer/supplier relationship. Communicate information, both written and verbal, in a clear, concise and professional manner. Responsible for entry of customer purchase orders (POs), including flow down notes, into Hexcel's ERP system, review and flow down of all contractual agreements for the POs, and price and lead time verification. Adhere to International Trade Compliance (ITC)/Legal obligations. Develop and maintain positive internal relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure Customer Service department needs, including customer requests, are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Request and assemble information provided by various departments to support RFQ/RFPs and entry of POs received from customers, both internal and external. Follow-up with customers to quoted materials and forecast requirements, and supply feedback to management in a timely manner. Supply new/potential customers with Hexcel required documents and work with Credit Department to establish credit terms. Initiate customer claims (material and non-material) in Hexcel claim system and maintain status of claims for customers. Collect and analyze data on customer needs, buying habits, and trends to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
