Bridge Design & Inspection Engineer II

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil (Structural) engineering.
• 2+ years of bridge design experience.
• Master's degree a plus
• Experience with related project work with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) standards, etc.
• EIT highky preferred
• Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc.
• Sponsorship is not offered for this position now or in the future.

AECOM i s looking for a Bridge Design & Inspection Engineer II to enhance the capabilities of AECOM's regional bridge team being based in AECOM's Louisville, Ky office . Job Duties may include but are not limited to: Excellent written and oral communication skills. This position is an opportunity to work within a well-established group offering diverse projects, technical challenges, and career development opportunities. Need to be able to perform work independently with minimal supervision. Prepare contract drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, technical reports, and construction cost estimates. Perform existing bridge inspection, and condition assessment, and develop rehabilitation strategies. Perform existing bridge design tasks based on client protocols and solid engineering assessments in coordination with AECOM project manager's direction. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
