Our ideal candidate will assist the Penn Dental Family Practice in providing patient-focused experiences supporting the delivery of high-quality care. PATIENT EXPERIENCE: Professionally greet & assist patients by scheduling appointments, providing explanation and translating information concerning dental clinic, charges, policies, & procedures. Consistently demonstrate concern and courtesy for colleagues and patients, following up with individuals to ensure satisfaction with the level of service expected. Educate and motivate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions, presents and explains treatment plants to patients, demonstrates effective communication to bridge the gap between a pending treatment plan and a completed treatment plan, provides postoperative instructions and schedules and subsequent visits. PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately gather patient demographics, insurance and/or financial information to establish patient's account, financial & billing data. Handle all insurance verification as well as pre- and post-appointment activity. Verify & maintain the accuracy of patient records including demographics, insurance, financial & guarantor data.
