Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

KEY DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Assurance and Control: Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Monitor and document quality control activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the construction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are met. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify quality requirements. Assist in the preparation of method statements, inspection and test plans and checklists. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare weekly progress reports. Ensure all QA/QC documentation is up-to-date and properly filed. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on QA/QC issues and progress. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as contractual obligations. Participate in safety and quality audits and implement improvements as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 1-2years of experience in construction quality control or quality assurance. Strong understanding of construction industry standards and codes. Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
