About the role

Ocean Casino is holding a Hiring Event for Seasonal BARTENDERS and Seasonal In/Out POOL SERVERS . We will hold interviews on Thursday, (June 25th) from 10:00am to 1:00 pm. *These positions are for immediate hire so please be sure to bring a copy of your resume and two forms of identification (unexpired State ID and Social Security Card/Birth Cert). ****Interviews will be held at the Human Resources (Recruitment Office). Parking is available in our customer garage located on Connecticut Avenue. You may park on the 8th, 9th, or 10th floor on "Ocean side" and take the elevator to the ground floor where you will enter through the employee entrance. Once inside, you will make a left and head towards the Security Podium for check-in.** About the Role The Bartender will prepare ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients. Position Responsibilities Bartenders will always comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures Adhere to established procedures, departmental guidelines and policies at all times, including but not limited to guest service, cashiering, portion control, sanitation and organization Recognize and correctly make a variety of beverages, adhere to recipes and specified measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish, accurate pricing, use of proper glassware and proper wine service Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp Ability to work holidays, weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must have a minimum of six months' experience bartending in a high volume front bar, service bar, and/or fine dining environment Must have a general knowledge of beer & liquor brands General knowledge of wine varietals preferred Pay Rate is $19.48/hour About the Role The Pool Server will serve food and beverage to pool guests ensuring a positive dining experience Position Responsibilities Maintain established company and Departmental uniform, appearance and hygiene standards at all times Responsible for handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system. Will use proper techniques in ordering, garnishing and delivering items to guests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Maintain a complete knowledge of menu items offered to guests. Adheres to state liquor laws Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds Knowledge of liquor and bar compliance regulations High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred Pay Rate: $11.79/hour Training & Development Free Meal while on shift
