About the role
Local Unit& Position Description Area SEAdepartment is part of DNV's Energy Systems APAC Region operations and holds animportant and strategic position for us in the marketplace, both locally andglobally. We hold a diverse portfolio of customers in Singapore and othercountries in the Region, delivering services on Market & Risk (M&R)within the onshore and offshore oil, gas process, renewables, wind industries. The Senior Risk Advisory Consultant will hold as mainresponsibilities, which are not limited to: - Onshore/Offshore safety& risk engineering, specifically with strong knowledge of QRA methodologiesand tools, Singapore safety case and QRA requirements, regulator (MHD)interface, ERM Projects - Workshop Facilitation(e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, FMECA, etc.) - Acting as the primarypoint of contact and providing expert discipline knowledge to clients, both inSingapore and in the Region around M&R offerings - Working with the DNV team/BD roles to lead sales activities and the development of proposals inaccordance with client's business objectives - Growing a technical teamwithin Singapore to deliver M&R projects through upskilling of currentstaff, mentoring of junior consultants - Acting as the technicallead (QA/QC) in projects and managing projects, where relevant - Networking within theindustry; identify and help to secure new client relationships and projectopportunities - Networking within the DNV organization to utilize the global skill's pool for the growth of the Region - Working with the local DNV software team to maximise the development of client opportunities withregard RMA advisory services and suite of software - Secure projects toenhance DNV's competence and recognition in the industry PositionQualifications - At least 10 years'experience with risk management advisory with a strong consultant mindset - Engineering degree orequivalent - Proven track record inProject management - Technical expertise onsafety methodologies (QRA, FSA), asset risk management, RAM analysis,Enterprise Risk Management, CFD (FLACS, KFX, etc.) - Strong command of spokenand written English - Solid experience in theSafety & Risk area in the Oil and Gas Industry - Strong communication andpresentation skills in initial approaches for projects - Highly committed toproject delivery Thesuccessful candidate shall: - Be a team player with apositive attitude and willingness to collaborate across groups and otheroffices for shared goals - Be able to combinetheoretical knowledge and practical skills - Possess a high degree ofadaptability and flexibility in an environment of constant development/ change - Hold good communicationskills, able to choose appropriate methods and style to suit the situation andaudience - Have the ability torespect and understand cultural diversity - Possess high standards ofprofessional integrity, willing to set an example to others - Be passionate aboutinnovation, curious, challenging status quo and embracing change - Be able to lead a smallteam of consultants and manage multiple/large projects - Effectivelyexpresses opinions and resolve contentious issues effectively - Hold broad technicalcompetence - Be self-motivated,resilient and cope with work pressure - Hold sales acumen and beable to translate market needs into services that DNV can offer
