Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable DevOps solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Automate software deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes.
• Design and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive solutions.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Manage production incidents, system health, capacity planning, and operational reporting.
• Establish and maintain configuration management standards and operational governance.
• Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment speed, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the engineering teams.
• Ensure systems comply with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Private Cloud platforms.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of:DockerKubernetesTerraformAnsibleGit
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:GrafanaPrometheusSplunkDynatraceELK Stack
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience managing production environments with high availability requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and container orchestration.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications will be an advantage.
