Revenue Operations plays a critical role in ensuring financial success by improving the platforms, operations, and systems supporting our go-to-market teams. This team partners with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver scalable and efficient processes across the customer lifecycle, from lead generation to revenue recognition. Revenue Operations is essential to achieving our company's revenue and operational goals. The Senior Salesforce Administrator is a key individual contributor on the Mumbai Revenue Operations team, responsible for configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving PitchBook's Salesforce platform. This role operates as an extension of the US-based Salesforce Administration team, executing on platform priorities and standards set by global RevOps leadership while collaborating closely with US and EMEA counterparts. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Salesforce expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality platform work independently within a globally coordinated team. Primary Job Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day Salesforce administration including object and field configuration, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, process automations, and permission sets. Execute platform changes and enhancements in alignment with priorities and specifications defined by the US-based Salesforce Administration team, ensuring work adheres to global governance and quality standards. Manage user provisioning, role hierarchy maintenance, profile and permission set assignments, and license management across the Salesforce org. Support sandbox management, change set deployments, and release coordination in partnership with US and EMEA Salesforce counterparts. Maintain accurate platform documentation including configuration logs, data dictionaries, field usage guides, and release notes to ensure transparency across the global team. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues, escalating to the Manager or US counterparts as appropriate and contributing to root cause analysis and long-term fixes. Contribute to data quality initiatives including deduplication, hygiene workflows, and validation rule enforcement to maintain CRM data integrity. Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors. Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
