We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and quantity measurement for reinforced concrete (RC) construction projects. Job Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for RC structural works. Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate quotations and recommend the most cost-effective solutions. Prepare BQ and cost plans. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate subcontract agreements. Monitor project costs and maintain accurate cost records throughout the project. Prepare progress claims, payment applications, and payment certifications. Assess and evaluate variation orders, claims, and final accounts. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters. Attend project meetings and provide cost updates and financial reports. Monitor material usage and identify opportunities for cost savings. Assist in procurement planning and purchasing activities. Review project drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies affecting project costs. Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial summaries. Ensure all commercial documentation is properly maintained and updated. Prepare and finalize project accounts upon project completion.
