Senior Manager, Facilities Redwood Materials is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Facilities to support the growth, reliability, and operational readiness of its facilities. This role will lead facilities operations while partnering closely with Design Engineering, Construction, Operations, and EHS to ensure new buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and systems are properly commissioned and successfully transitioned into ongoing operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on facilities leader with strong technical judgment, project execution experience, and a proven ability to guide systems from installation through startup, handover, and long-term operational support. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and bring a practical, solutions-oriented approach to building and scaling world-class facilities. Responsibilities will include: Lead the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of the Facilities function in support of safety, uptime, compliance, and site readiness. Oversee maintenance and operation of building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure, including HVAC, lighting, grounds, and related equipment. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing facilities team, while managing priorities, contractor performance, and escalated issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen response time, asset reliability, service quality, and maintenance effectiveness. Manage facility-related capital and expense projects, including scope, budget, schedule, contractor coordination, and quality oversight. Partner with internal and external project teams to support new construction, tenant improvements, equipment installs, and infrastructure upgrades. Review, receive, and accept turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning reports, training records, warranty documents, spare parts information, and asset data. Ensure punch-list items, deficiencies, and open issues are tracked to closure or transitioned clearly with ownership and action plans. Support CMMS readiness by ensuring asset information, preventive maintenance inputs, and equipment documentation are complete and usable. Develop and track KPIs related to facilities performance, maintenance execution, and project turnover quality. Maintain compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Travel: Expected 30% of travel to support multiple sites across the US.
