Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
• Ensure high standards in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
• Train and guide junior chefs to improve skills and efficiency
• Address and resolve kitchen disputes, escalating to management when necessary
• Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant legislations, health and safety regulations and licensing conditions
• Ensure cleanliness and proper grooming across the kitchen
• Step in to oversee kitchen operations during the Head Chef's absence
• Carry out any other culinary duties as per assigned by superior

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory kitchen role
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments
• Creative and passionate about food innovation
