The Cook follows established procedures and standards, including standardized recipes, production sheets, and master menus. Key responsibilities include maintaining a high standard of food safety and sanitation in all aspects of food preparation and handling, coordinating meal production, serving customers, and communicating effectively with team members. The role also involves receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, along with performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience as a cook or in a related food service role Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations (including proper handling, sanitation, and storage) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal Grade 12 education or equivalent Food Safe Level 1 & 2 certification (or ability to obtain) Basic math and counting skills Working Conditions: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing and walking May be required to wear a uniform and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) If you are a reliable and dedicated professional with a passion for food quality and safety, we encourage you to apply.
