Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a key technical liaison, working directly with our client and LTA stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment.
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design and detailed engineering to system integration, testing, and commissioning, specifically for automated driverless MRT lines.
• Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and progress reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Participate in the design review process, providing expert technical input and ensuring compliance with LTA standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.
• Oversee and support the execution phase, coordinating with various teams and contractors to ensure seamless implementation of rail systems.
• Conduct technical investigations, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions during all project phases.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, technical specifications, and reports.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, global agency partners, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 1-5 years of proven experience in rail systems, mass transit, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience with MRT or LTA projects in Singapore is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with automated driverless train systems (e.g., CBTC, ATO) and associated technologies is a significant plus.
• Understanding of project management principles, design processes, and execution methodologies within an engineering context.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced project environment.
