IT Support - Enterprise Monitoring (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

JOB PURPOSE Support the installation, configuration and monitoring of all IT applications, systems and databases. Core Responsibilities Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application uptime, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and DR replication. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled. Provide level-1 support per request from various teams and entities. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Monitor the performance and capacity of IT systems, applications and datacenter components. Conduct core banking end-of-day activities and execute relevant reports. Respond to IT, datacenter, DB alerts and hardware malfunctions. Track and document IT issues and compiling incident reports. Performs any other duties outside the scope as and when required. Self-Management Responsibilities Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role. Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth. Qualifications Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or computer engineering. 0-2 years of experience in a similar role. Working experience in the UAE, with familiarity with the UAE's regulations is preferred. Proficient in Arabic and a good command of English. Nature of Experience Problem Solving - Identifying and solving problems in a timely manner. Suggesting/implementing solutions to overcome operation related obstacles and achieve the desired results. Communication - Communicating clearly and concisely with appropriate use of vocabulary as well as body language. Engaging in productive and effective dialogues. Ability to work flexible hours. Good written and verbal communication skills.
