- NVQ Level 3 (Direct Patient Care)

The Healthcare Assistant role supports safe, consistent delivery of outpatient and health screening services by providing direct patient care and operational support across the pathway. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder undertakes core clinical tasks including observations, phlebotomy, patient preparation and flow coordination, while ensuring accurate documentation, infection control and adherence to governance standards. The role also contributes to clinic efficiency, stock management and service development, helping maintain a smooth, well‑run environment. Overall, it's about delivering compassionate, hands‑on care while supporting the wider team to meet quality, safety and patient experience expectations.
