About the role

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the14th Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation, within the Community Services Flight on Columbus AFB, Mississippi. This is the supervisor for the Information, Tickets, and Travel (ITT) office. Regular FULL-Time (RPT) employees are guaranteed 35 hours, but may work up to 40 per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of the ITT and Leisure Travel operation military and/ or commercial preferred. Ability to communicate effectively and persuade and inspire others in order to achieve the goals of the activity. Skill to effectively manage the financial resources received and provided for the program. Experience which demonstrated the ability and skill to perform all duties required of the position. Experience must have demonstrated the ability to meet and deal with all customers who are using the programs offered. Ability and skill in preparing an annual budget for the requirements of the activity. Operates computer for program. Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries is required. Must have valid driver's license. This is a drug tested designated position. Incumbent will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
