Senior Research Engineer AI Speech Enhancement

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry experience in one or more of these domains is considered an advantage.
• Minimum years of work experience: 3
• Required skills:
• Proven experience in developing and training machine learning models, particularly deep neural networks (DNNs)
• Strong expertise in digital signal processing, with a focus on speech and audio processing
• Solid programming skills in C and Python
• Good understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Positive, proactive mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken

Daily Functions / Responsibilities: Develop advanced, robust DNN-based speech enhancement solutions for automotive applications and adjacent domains such as healthcare, robotics, and home entertainment Design, implement, and maintain scalable tools and workflows for training and evaluating DNN models Support business development by creating proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and participating in customer demonstrations Drive the integration of new technologies into production-ready products and solutions Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies and competitive offerings Mentor and supervise interns and master's students Contribute to the company's IP portfolio by drafting and supporting patent applications
