$500 Sign on BONUS! We are seeking a skilled and personable Teppan Cook to prepare and cook meals on a teppanyaki grill in front of guests. The ideal candidate should possess strong culinary skills, a flair for presentation, and the ability to entertain guests while maintaining food quality and safety standards. Role and Responsibilities: Prepare and cook teppanyaki-style dishes including meats, seafood, vegetables, and rice. Perform tableside cooking and entertainment, showcasing knife skills, fire tricks, and engaging guest interaction. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the teppanyaki station and kitchen area. Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to kitchen management. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service. Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests or special dietary needs. Proven experience as a Teppan Cook, Hibachi Chef, or similar role in a Japanese or Asian-fusion restaurant. Strong knife and grill cooking skills. Outgoing personality and comfortable performing in front of guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Culinary training or certification. Experience with Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki-style cooking. Multilingual abilities (especially English and Japanese) are a plus. Westgate Resorts is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer .
