Virtual Care Veterinary Technician - Teletriage (Relief)

Responsibilities

• Engage with members via chat, phone, and video, providing support and education on their pets' health and well-being
• Triage medical cases based on veterinary knowledge, offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
• Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
• Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
• Verify and process prescriptions , ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests
• Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth, whether over chat, phone, or video
• Follow protocols , maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
• Collaborate cross-functionally , providing feedback to improve processes and systems

You're adaptable, communicative, and ready to jump in when needed- often within 48-72 hours' notice.
