Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for production employees in assigned area. Participate in employment, staffing and performance management decisions, and maintain departmental personnel records and reports on productivity, quality, and attendance.
• Provide coaching, motivation, and counseling to employees to encourage optimum performance and continued skill development. Drive plantwide Continuous Improvement initiatives stemming from Worcester Plant Key Projects and others as deemed by the Plant Manager and other site Managers.
• Communicate company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced. Communicate effectively with other departments to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.
• This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience OR a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution with a minimum of seven (7) years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
• You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:
• Lean Manufacturing experience/certification.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
• MRP experience.

Additional Information

Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to join our team in Worcester, MA. This is an exciting and unique opportunity as the Worcester plant recently became part of the Power Quality Division and the Production Supervisor will have exposure to multiple business units through acquisitions, change management activities, and a business ramp up. As a Production Supervisor, you will be an integral member of the Worcester Operations Team, with responsibilities to plan, coordinate, supervise and motivate the activities of all employees of the assigned product line. In addition, you will utilize the employees assigned to other product lines to meet or exceed our safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency goals, while assisting the Plant Manager Manager in implementing plant wide initiatives. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
