About the role

Job Title: AP & AR Executive Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am to 5:30pm Location: Pandan Road, Singapore (Clementi) Salary: $3800 - $4800 The AP & AR Executive will be responsible for overseeing the company's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Job Responsibilities: Review AP, AR, and banking transactions, including GST and tax compliance, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies Monitor payment and collection cycles to ensure timely and effective processing Identify errors, irregularities, and control gaps, and recommend corrective actions Ensure proper approval workflows, frameworks, and documentation are in place Liaise with procurement teams and suppliers to resolve invoicing and payment issues promptly Liaise with sales teams and clients to resolve invoicing and credit collection issues promptly Plan and manage AP and AR cash flow cycles to support business operations Plan and manage banking facilities and banker's guarantees Prepare and review AP and AR aging reports and key performance metrics Support banking activities, invoice financing, letters of credit, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management Maintain and improve internal controls over AP and AR processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives for AP and AR processes Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues Support system enhancements and automation initiatives Review AP and AR balances during month-end and year-end closing Prepare AP and AR related journal entries during month-end and year-end closing Prepare and review account reconciliations Provide AP and AR aging reports to management Coordinate with external auditors on AP and AR matters Job Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in AP/AR oversight, analysis, or accounting review roles Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and internal controls Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Experience in audit support Experience in GST and WHT compliance Familiarity with trust receipts, invoice financing processes, and LC negotiation Ho Ming Jie (Edmund) Reg No: R1987094 The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd EA No: 14C7279
