The K-9 Officer will provide a safe and secure environment for all persons on premises by working closely with their assigned shift, conducting K-9 patrols, responding to calls and documenting incidents. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement or military required. Experience in hospital security and/or K-9 operations are preferred. Basic K-9 Handler Agitator Course preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current California (CA) driver's license. Must be insurable under Huntington's liability insurance. Current CA Guard Card with Baton Permit Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association Job Title: Security K-9 Officer Department: Security Shift Duration: 8 Primary Shift: Evenings Time Type: Full time Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $24.00 - $36.00. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
