Responsibilities
- Where you'll work
- Know your buyer and user: research and deeply understand the founder and startup persona, including roles, pain points, objections, and goals.
- Own the startup narrative for Brex, including product and solution positioning, to demonstrate why Brex is the best solution for startups at every stage of growth.
- Develop the marketing strategy for our startup segment (pre-seed, seed, series A) and bring it to life across messaging, campaigns, events, and more.
- Devise and quarterback full-funnel marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales plays to optimize outcomes from acquisition to adoption and upsells.
- Create sales and marketing assets (e.g., pitch decks, web pages, case studies, social posts, thought leadership) in partnership with Brand and Design teams.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of your initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and achieve business goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product marketing, content marketing, or growth marketing at a B2B SaaS company
- 3+ years leading teams and/or cross-functional strategic initiatives involving executive-level stakeholders
- Customer-obsessed with empathy for startup and founder challenges
- Proven track record of translating features and products into compelling, customer-centric narratives and campaigns
- Expertise in market segmentation, personas, and customer journey mapping
- Natural ability to find the unique story that cuts through the noise and bring it to life across formats and channels
- Strategic thinker who can execute tactically and work cross-functionally
- Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and content creation
