About the role
Working under the guidance of licensed architects and senior team members, you will be exposed to all phases of projects and support the design studio on a wide range of projects. This 12-week internship (June to August 2026) offers exposure to a diverse portfolio, including transportation, municipal, institutional, and government facilities. You will contribute to BIM modelling, assist with 3D visualization, produce mock-ups and 3D prints, and organize construction and design documents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural drawings, models, and technical drawings using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Support design development through 3D modelling, rendering, and visualization.
- Contribute to the production of physical models, mock-ups, and 3D-printed components.
- Help organize physical and digital libraries, project files and documentation.
- Conduct research, data collection, and studies to support project teams.
- Provide general support to the architectural team, including administrative tasks such as preparing meeting materials and recording minutes of meeting.
- Assist Construction Admin teams in shop drawing / RFI and SI procedures such as creating and updating logs, organizing materials submitted for review and proper filing of construction documentation
- Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program in Architecture, Architectural Science/Technology, or a closely related design discipline.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM tools.
- Working knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, and V-Ray for modelling and visualization is considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team environment.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
