About the role

Join our Wireless Systems Design Validation Team, a dynamic group at the forefront of wireless innovation. Responsibilities

  • You will develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems.
  • Working closely with design engineers and system integration/test engineers, you will define requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system optimization.
  • Your responsibilities will span from automation framework development to hands-on lab testing, ensuring thorough validation of PHY/MAC functionality while maintaining robust test infrastructure for ongoing regression and continuous integration efforts.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Hands-on experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments.
  • Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, with demonstrated ability to create robust, scalable test frameworks.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers. Experience with CMW500 or equivalent platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network analysis and debugging tools such as protocol analyzers, Wireshark, iperf, and similar utilities.
  • Experience in configuring and controlling access points (APs) and understanding of AP-client interactions is a plus.
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#, with emphasis on test automation and data analysis.
