Kansas City Consolidated Accounting Office Location: 4370 W. 109th St., Suite 210, Overland Park, Kansas 66211 Summary: Responsible for recording payments to customers' accounts and maintaining receivable records. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following: Prepares and handles daily cash deposits Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested Processes daily credit card deposits Files check stubs and bank receipts Reconciles schedules and cash balance Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks and ensures checks are collected Maintains credit applications on recurring accounts Records sales tax exempt information Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts Assists with related special projects, as required Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the Company's Core Values Complies with Company policies and procedures Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
