About the role

HUB International is looking for an analytic and innovative Billing Analyst. This role is responsible for managing all functions related to the billing process and billing support of our clients. Excellent analytical, organizational and data management skills are required for this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing billing functions for clients and insurance carriers Effectively researching, tracking and resolving account problems and discrepancies Reconciling accounts Posting client payments and backup documentation to carrier websites Preparing spreadsheets as needed/requested for analysis Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues and providing clarification when necessary Ensuring clients' billing accounts are set up correctly with carriers Managing the needs and expectations of the client in a proactive manner Providing clients with excellent customer service

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 3 - 5 years successful finance, accounting and/or benefits related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills; possess strong customer service orientation skills and be results driven
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability
  • Experience with MS Office with advanced skills with MS Excel, or equivalent programs, and a working knowledge of employee benefits administration software applications
  • Department Account Management & Service
  • Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Required Travel: Negligible
  • Required Education: High school or equivalent
