Human Resources Generalist

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 2-5+ years of HR Generalist experience, in a Guatemala-based operation
• Strong knowledge of Guatemalan labor laws and compliance requirements (IGSS, Labor Ministry, etc.)
• Call Center background preferred
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring and onboarding environments
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The HR Generalist in Guatemala is responsible for delivering full-spectrum human resources support, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and maintaining efficient HR operations. This role partners closely with Operations, Training, Legal, and Payroll to support employee lifecycle processes, enhance employee experience, and drive organizational consistency. The HR Generalist will play a key role in strengthening HR structure, managing employee relations, supporting recruiting and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with Guatemalan labor regulations.
