Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned banking projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and governance standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact between consulting firm, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution
- Develop and maintain project plans, scope, schedules, and resource allocation in coordination with client teams
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues,and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery
- Facilitate project meetings, steeringcommittee sessions, and provide progress updates to internal and clientmanagement
- Oversee solution design, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring quality and alignment with objectives
- Support change management and stakeholder communication initiatives
- Ensure adherence to client methodologies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and guide project team members, including consultants and client staff, to foster collaboration and productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a ProjectManagement Office (PMO) role in banking industry.
- Proven track record in end-to-end applicationupgrade projects
- Experience in managing enterprise software applications, application modernization, system implementation, or application upgrade initiatives.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end software application lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Strong understanding of software application delivery frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile practices.
- Experience managing application upgrade, migration, modernization, or cloud/SaaS transformation projects within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience overseeing software vendors, development teams, system integrators, and technical delivery partners.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions and provide governance over application quality, security, performance, scalability, and operational readiness.
- Japanese language proficiency is advantageous for liaising with Japanese-speaking business stakeholders and regional teams.
