Lead CT Radiographer

Responsibilities

• As the CT Lead Radiographer, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Diagnostic Directorate - showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service. Establishing good working relationships with all areas of the wider hospital is essential.
• You will be working with a team of Senior and Superintendent Radiographers to provide high standards of service to all of Cromwell's customers. The department can be very busy and the job holder must be able to work well under pressure in a complex environment.
• Also, as the CT Lead Radiographer, you will be performing a variety of CT examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures, as well as some specialist orthopaedic imaging.
• You must have substantial CT Experience (minimum of 5 years) with Cardiac CT experience.
• Qualifications/ Experience:
• Essential:
• BSc/Diploma in Radiography
• HCPC Registration
• Significant CT experience (minimum 5 years)
• Strong general X‑ray experience
• Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Desirable:
• Evidence of CPD
• Postgraduate Certificate in CT
• Siemens CT experience
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
