Senior Engineer - Automation

Responsibilities

• Staying aligned with emerging technologies and proposing innovative solutions
• Building strong business cases to support the adoption of new technologies
• Designing and delivering technical architectures for automation technologies
• Integrating diverse technologies, tools, and platforms to meet use‑case requirements
• Developing MVPs and Proofs of Concept for automation solutions
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers across global teams
• Translating business requirements and process workflows into modular technical designs
• Using programming and scripting languages to develop automation routines
• Creating and executing unit and integration test cases
• Collaborating with Architects to engineer new capabilities
• Following Agile/SDLC processes and adhering to development best practices
• Working with Automation Analysts, account teams, and customer teams to deploy automation workflows
• Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and alignment with best practices
• Developing CMP‑related procedures interfacing with APIs for cloud and infrastructure manipulation
• Ensuring automation routines meet technical design and performance expectations

• You will be successful in this role if you have:
• Key Qualifications (8+ Years)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Expert-level infrastructure services experience
• Expert-level automation programming and scripting experience
• Expert-level ITSM and ITIL process knowledge
• Proven expertise designing and deploying automation routines
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills
• Demonstrated thought leadership and innovation focus
• Proven ability to lead projects and deliver with excellence
• Required Skills
• Automation tools: ServiceNow Orchestrator, Ansible, Foreman, etc.
• Configuration management tools such as Ansible
• DevOps experience
