NegotiableGeneral Description/Primary Purpose:Part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Clinical & Applied Movement Sciences. Adjunct faculty are employed on a semester-by-semester basis, as needed, and are non-tenure-earning.Position responsibilities include but not limited to:Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved syllabus and course schedule.Hold scheduled office hours with frequency and modality as negotiated with the acting program director and department chair.Mentor students.Working Hours: Part-timeWork Schedule: VariesSupervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.Required Licensure:Kinesiology UG and Kinesiology grad: N/AAthletic Training: Board of Certification, Florida licensure or eligible for athletic training licensure in FloridaAnticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on May 4, 2026.Compensation : Adjunct faculty are paid a minimum of $1000 per credit hour.Required Qualifications:Kinesiology UG: earned master's degree in Exercise Science (or related field)Kinesiology grad: earned doctoral degree in Exercise Science (or related field)Athletic Training: earned doctoral degree in biomechanics, exercise science, sports medicine, or a related field; certification and good standing with the Board of Certification; current Florida licensure or eligible for athletic training licensure in FloridaHealth insuranceVision insurance
