PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Grossing Technician to join our team in Tukwila, WA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm overtime and rotating weekends may be required Job Responsibilities Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures Perform technical duties related to the production of histopathological slides Specialize in the accurate gross description and dissection of surgical specimens Diagram pertinent gross specimens as necessary Prepare sections of human tissue for pathologist diagnostic study Operate laboratory instruments to properly display specimens Perform equipment maintenance as needed Record equipment log data in an accurate and timely manner Comply with applicable safety procedures and protocol Effectively communicate with histology team members
