Responsibilities
- Deliver features across the Rails backend and its jQuery/Backbone frontend
- Write and optimise SQL for SQL Anywhere and MS SQL Server; queries, stored procedures, indexing, schema migrations
- Maintain and extend the React PWA companion ap. State management, offline sync, service workers
- Maintain and extend the ASP.NET WebForms application, including SSRS reports and ADO.NET data access
- Support enterprise SSO integrations (Azure AD, Okta, SAML/WS-Federation)
- Maintain SOAP/XML service integrations in the Rails application
- Write and maintain automated tests across the stack - RSpec/Capybara (Rails), Jest and Cypress (React PWA)
- Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience on Ruby on Rails - feature delivery, ActiveRecord, server-side rendering with legacy JS frontend
- jQuery / CoffeeScript / Backbone.js - comfortable working in and extending a legacy frontend codebase
- SQL Anywhere and/or MS SQL Server - confident query writing, stored procedures, schema migrations
- React PWA with Redux and Redux-Saga
- Git, RSpec, Jest, Cypress
