Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers in mechanical and electrical (M&E) product sectors to support repeat sales and customer satisfaction
• Identify and pursue new business leads to expand market presence and increase revenue
• Analyze market trends and customer requirements to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Deliver product and technical presentations or demonstrations to consultants, architects, and contractors to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
• Manage sales and marketing activities including project follow-up, preparation of quotes, project submissions, site meetings, and collection of payments
• Interpret technical drawings and utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare sales documents and reports
• Required competencies and certifications
• Diploma qualification in any engineering field
• Minimum 2 years of technical or engineering sales experience, preferably in building M&E products
• Ability to communicate effectively in English to engage with diverse stakeholders in the building industry including architects and developers
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems to enhance technical sales effectiveness
• Proficiency in Chinese language to facilitate communication with clients and suppliers from China
• Candidates with higher experience may be considered for senior roles
